The James T. Evans Post 341 was founded in 1921 with the mission of supporting Veterans.  Our namesake, James Evans, died as a result of his service in the U.S. Army during WWI.

Today we continue to honor his memory by focusing our efforts on serving our local military veterans and their families.

We support numerous projects within our community designed to improve the quality of lives of our residents.  We also provide patriotic lessons and services to our local school system.

Every year we sponsor students to Boys State and Girls State as well as offering scholarships to students who devote their time to community service with aspirations of higher education.
